What we do

Freight solutions built around your cargo.

Six services, all pointed at the same thing: getting a consignment from where it is to where it needs to be, with the paperwork in order.

Services

Choose by what the cargo needs, not by what sounds fastest.

Where more than one option is viable we quote both and explain the trade-off. Air is not always right, and sea is not always cheaper once the whole journey is counted.

Air Freight

When a consignment has to be there in days rather than weeks, air freight is the right tool. We book capacity, prepare the paperwork and coordinate the ground legs at both ends so your cargo moves through the airport rather than sitting in it.

Typical transit
Days rather than weeks
Charged on
Chargeable weight — the greater of actual or volumetric
Best for
Urgent, compact or high-value cargo
Rows of intermodal shipping containers in a terminal yard

Sea Freight

Sea freight carries volume at a price air cannot match. Whether you need a full container or space in a consolidated load, we plan the sailing around your date, prepare the documentation and keep you informed while the box is on the water.

Typical transit
Several weeks, sailing dependent
Charged on
Container rate (FCL) or volume/weight (LCL)
Best for
Volume, weight and non-urgent cargo
Two colleagues reviewing a customs file together

Clearing & Forwarding

Most delays are not caused by the aircraft or the vessel — they are caused by a document that is missing, inconsistent or arrives too late. We prepare and check the file before departure, and work with brokers at destination so clearance is a formality rather than a hold.

Scope
Documentation, entry preparation, clearance liaison
Works with
Our own shipments and third-party consignments
Best for
Cargo held up, or shipments you want checked before departure

International Logistics

A shipment rarely involves a single vehicle. Collection, warehousing, the main freight leg, clearance and final delivery are usually handled by different parties in different countries. We coordinate them as one movement so you are not managing four suppliers and three time zones.

Scope
End-to-end coordination across modes and borders
You get
One reference, one contact, one file
Best for
Complex or recurring movements

Cargo Representation

Freight companies and international partners occasionally need someone dependable on the ground at the other end of a lane. We act as a representative for cargo interests — attending to consignments, liaising with brokers and handling coordination locally on behalf of the party who holds the relationship.

For
Forwarders, agents and cargo interests
Scope
Agreed in writing before we act
Reporting
Direct to you

Door-to-Door Support

Not everyone can get a consignment to a depot, and not every recipient can collect from a terminal. Door-to-door support adds the first and last legs to any air or sea booking, so the shipment starts and finishes where it actually needs to.

How Honeyspring works

From first enquiry to final delivery.

Five steps, each one handled by a person who has seen your consignment.
Start with a quote
  1. 01

    Tell us about your cargo

Submit shipment dimensions, origin, destination and preferred method.

A rough weight and box count is enough to start. We will tell you what else we need rather than sending you a form and hoping.

  2. 02

    Receive your quote

Our team reviews your shipment and provides suitable transport options.

Quotes are prepared by a person who has looked at your consignment. Where air and sea are both viable, you get both prices and the trade-off between them.

  3. 03

    Book & confirm

Confirm your shipment directly with our freight operations team.

Your booking is confirmed with an official reference and formal invoice. We verify customs papers and cargo readiness before departure.

  4. 04

    We coordinate the freight

Collection, freight movement, clearing and forwarding are coordinated as required.

One reference covers the whole movement. If something changes en route, you hear it from us before you have to ask.

  5. 05

    Track & receive

Follow progress with proactive updates delivered straight to your email.

Every milestone is verified against your booking reference, with status notices sent directly to your inbox.
